2015-2016 Warrens Cranberry Festival Royalty May-June Update

Royal Greetings!

We are excited to share the latest events we’ve had the opportunity to take part in since our last update.

On April 22nd Nodji accompanied us to  the Sparta Festmaster’s Banquet. The meal was delicious and it was an enjoyable night even if we did have a little mishap of spilled milk.

April 23rd we had a fun filled day of helping out at Princess For A Day. Approximately 40 little girls attended wearing their lovely princess dresses. The young ladies were all delighted to get their hair, makeup and nails done. They were all so fascinated with our crowns and wanted to take lots of pictures with us.

Cassie and I had the privilege of going to the Alice in Dairyland Coronation in Dodge County. We thought it was a great experience! Ann O'Leary was crowned the 69th Alice in Dairyland, and she is very deserving of the title.

The parade season has begun! We’ve had three parades so far this summer: Westby Syttende Mai, Camp Douglas Armed Forces Day, and Arcadia Broiler Days. We were very lucky to have beautiful weather for all three parades.

We also went to the premier of Discover Wisconsin episode of “Fall Fun at Warrens Cranberry Festival”. It was a nice picnic style dinner and we enjoyed the new episode of Warrens Cranberry Festival  that is being aired .

On May 21st Cassie, Ellie and I attended the TACU Cancer Support breakfast and 5K (we didn't run- not really dressed for the part!) but had a fun time Day Parade in Camp Douglas. What a great parade to show our
support of our troops and all the service people. There were 40 units in the parade this year, their biggest
parade yet. We were proud to be a  part of this day. Thank you to all who serve!

On May 29th we attended Arcadia Broiler Days Festival. The day started out with a royalty tea and group
Picture. The parade was long, but really fun. There  were a lot of people along the parade route and the
weather was wonderful!

On May 30th we attended the Warren Mills Cemetery service. The princesses and I had the honor of laying  the wreath for the service. It was a beautiful ceremony and the weather was gorgeous. We enjoyed a chicken  dinner prepared by the Warrens Lions Club and then finished our day by participating in the Mather Cemetery service.

The princesses and I are truly enjoying our time together. These girls are great!

We hope you enjoyed our monthly update and we look forward to what’s ahead on our calendar.

Yours Truly,
