2015-2016 Warrens Cranberry Festival Royalty May-June Update

Royal Greetings!

We are excited to share the latest events we’ve had the opportunity to take part in since our last update.

On April 22nd Nodji accompanied us to  the Sparta Festmaster’s Banquet. The meal was delicious and it was an enjoyable night even if we did have a little mishap of spilled milk.

April 23rd we had a fun filled day of helping out at Princess For A Day. Approximately 40 little girls attended wearing their lovely princess dresses. The young ladies were all delighted to get their hair, makeup and nails done. They were all so fascinated with our crowns and wanted to take lots of pictures with us.

Cassie and I had the privilege of going to the Alice in Dairyland Coronation in Dodge County. We thought it was a great experience! Ann O'Leary was crowned the 69th Alice in Dairyland, and she is very deserving of the title.

The parade season has begun! We’ve had three parades so far this summer: Westby Syttende Mai, Camp Douglas Armed Forces Day, and Arcadia Broiler Days. We were very lucky to have beautiful weather for all three parades.

We also went to the premier of Discover Wisconsin episode of “Fall Fun at Warrens Cranberry Festival”. It was a nice picnic style dinner and we enjoyed the new episode of Warrens Cranberry Festival  that is being aired .

On May 21st Cassie, Ellie and I attended the TACU Cancer Support breakfast and 5K (we didn't run- not really dressed for the part!) but had a fun time Day Parade in Camp Douglas. What a great parade to show our
support of our troops and all the service people. There were 40 units in the parade this year, their biggest
parade yet. We were proud to be a  part of this day. Thank you to all who serve!

On May 29th we attended Arcadia Broiler Days Festival. The day started out with a royalty tea and group
Picture. The parade was long, but really fun. There  were a lot of people along the parade route and the
weather was wonderful!

On May 30th we attended the Warren Mills Cemetery service. The princesses and I had the honor of laying  the wreath for the service. It was a beautiful ceremony and the weather was gorgeous. We enjoyed a chicken  dinner prepared by the Warrens Lions Club and then finished our day by participating in the Mather Cemetery service.

The princesses and I are truly enjoying our time together. These girls are great!

We hope you enjoyed our monthly update and we look forward to what’s ahead on our calendar.

Yours Truly,

2015-2016 Warrens Cranberry Festival Royalty April Update

Royal Greetings!

We are excited to share the latest event we’ve had the opportunity to take part in since our last update.

This past month has been pretty quiet for us. We attended the Warrens Easter Breakfast and enjoyed visiting with everyone who attended. We served juice, cinnamon rolls, and “bunny treats”. It was a good turn out, and we even had a chance to take pictures with the Easter Bunny!

Our next  royal activity was to take all the Christmas decorations off the float and get it ready the parade season. We replaced all the floor sheeting and tried out our brand new canvas cover. We love it! We are all ready for our busy parade season which is approaching very quickly.

We hope you enjoyed our update for this month and we look forward to what’s ahead on our calendar.

2015-2016 Warrens Cranberry Festival Royalty March Update

Royal Greetings!

We are excited to share the latest event we’ve had the opportunity to take part in since our last update. This past month has been pretty calm for us. On February 17th we went to the Tomah VA to celebrate The Salute To National Veteran Patients Week. The event was close to Valentine’s Day, so they had a giant heart shaped cake that we served to all the veterans. Everyone was so friendly and we enjoyed mingling and talking to all the veterans. After we finished serving cake we were able to attend their art show and vote for our favorite piece of artwork. The art was all done by the veterans and was simply amazing. Each artist told their own stories of their experiences. It was a great time and a wonderful experience for all of us!

We hope you enjoyed our update for this month and we look forward to what’s ahead on our calendar.

2015-2016 Warrens Cranberry Festival Royalty February Update

Royal Greetings!

We are excited to share our latest event with everyone.
On January 31, Princess Ellie and Queen Alison went to the Westby Ski Jump. Princess Cassie wasn't able to join us due to dance team competition. We had a fun time and were able to meet the Westby Snowflake Royalty along with other visiting royalty. The event started off with an opening ceremony. Skiers from all over the U.S. and other countries participated in the ski jump. It was so cool watching them glide through the air and land at the bottom. We climbed all the way to the top of the jump area and had our picture taken with the ski hill landing in the background. Besides watching the skiers we were also able to take in a horse ride too. It was such an enjoyable day to be out in the snow! We can't wait for our next event to represent the Warrens Cranberry Festival.

2015-2016 Warrens Cranberry Festival Royalty December Update

Royal Greetings to everyone!

We are excited to share with everyone about our latest event we’ve had the opportunity to take part in this last month. We've been very busy lately with all of the holiday parades! We were in the Tomah parade November 27th, Sparta December 4th, and Black River Falls parade December 5th. We were voted Santa’s Favorite in the Sparta parade. We were very lucky to have great, warm weather for every single one. With the help of our dads we even got the float lights to stop flashing during the parades! On December 3rd Cassie, Ellie and I along with our parents traveled to Madison to the Governor's Mansion and State Capitol. It was such a fun day spent with the girls! On December 5th we did a food demo at the Cranberry Discovery Center. Ellie made cranberry cake with butter sauce, Cassie made cranberry chicken salad, and I made cranberry salsa. It was a very good turnout and everyone enjoyed our  recipes. We have been having SO much fun on our royalty experiences so far!!
