Royal greetings & Happy New Year!

We are excited to share our latest event attended since the holidays. Our schedule for January has been a little calmer compared to the month of December. On January 8th we traveled to Wisconsin Dells for the Wisconsin Fairest of Fairs Competition. The evening started with a delicious meal followed by the final intense competition for the new Wisconsin Fairest of the Fairs. All the ladies who competed did a great job! Cayley Vande Berg of Fond Du Lac County was crowned the 2020 Wisconsin Fairest Of The Fairs. We visited with the competitors and took pictures with the 2019 Wisconsin Fairest Of The Fairs, Megan Buechel. It was an exciting night of competition and always fun to meeting new people. We

2019-2020 Warrens Cranberry Festival Royalty December Update

Royal greetings and Happy Holidays!

We are so excited to share all the events we’ve had the opportunity to participate in since our last update.

On November 29th, Princess Katie and Princess Annabelle attended the Tomah Holiday Parade. We left our float at home and only took the Suburban. The weather was nice so we walked the entire parade route waving to everyone along the way. The parade route was packed with people on both sides of street. We enjoyed hot chocolate before and after the parade.

On December 6th, Princess Katie and Princess Annabelle attended the Sparta Holiday Parade. Before the parade we enjoyed hot chocolate at the Royalty Tea and took pictures with Santa and Ben Biken. We walked the entire route of the parade waving to all the cheerful parade goers. The weather was great and it was a delightful night.

On December 13th, we served cranberry juice and handed out presents at the Tomah Senior Center Christmas Party. It was nice to visit and spread some holiday cheer with area seniors.

On December 14th, we toured the Wisconsin Capital in Madison. The rotunda contained a 30 foot tall Christmas tree. The tree was decorated with ornaments that were handmade by students from all over Wisconsin. The theme this year is a celebration of what science means to Wisconsin students. This is the 103rd year a tree has been in the Capitol rotunda. We were able to take some great photos near the Christmas tree and out on the observation deck. We left for lunch and later toured the Executive
Residents. The house was filled with beautiful Christmas trees, each of them were decorated in a different theme. One of the trees was decorated in red, white and blue lights and military ornaments to remember Wisconsin’s deployed service members and named “Tribute to our Troops”. We had a busy day in
Madison with picture taking and holiday excitement. We’ve enjoyed  celebrating the holiday season and promoting the Cranberry Festival on all our adventures this past month.

Happy Holidays!

Here is a sneak peek of what’s ahead on our schedule:
Shopping for formals, Fairest of the Fair Coronation, WSCGA Winter Meeting, and Westby Snowflake Ski Jump.

2019-2020 Warrens Cranberry Festival Royalty November Update

Royal greetings everyone!

On Friday October 11th we were a part of the Tomah Homecoming Parade. It’s was 40 degrees and windy but it’s always fun to be in a local parade with so many familiars faces to wave at.

On Friday October 25th we attended Halloween Trunk or Treat at St. Matthew Church in Warrens. We took the Warrens Cranberry Festival Suburban and draped spiderwebs all over it so it looked really creepy. We handed out bags of craisens and candy to all the trick or treaters. It was awesome to see all the kids in
costumes, glad we could be a part of this fun event.

We are excited for all the events to come and are honored to represent the Warrens Cranberry Festival!

2019-2020 Warrens Cranberry Festival Royalty October Update

Royal Greetings everyone!

We are honored to represent the Warrens Cranberry Festival this upcoming year.

As the newly crowned royalty our first event was the Warrens Cranberry Festival. Princesses Annabelle, Katie and I, Queen Lindsay, went to Warrens on Thursday. We did an interview along with the Mayor of Tomah, Mike Murray, as well as filming a commercial with Nodji Van Wychen and her family. The rest of the Festival consisted of greeting vendors and meeting new people. Many of the festers were from different states and even different countries. Saturday we went on a marsh tour which for both Annabelle and Katie was their first time. The tour was very informative and we had an amazing tour guide. Even though Sunday was rainy we still had a great time at the Royalty Tea and parade.

October 5th we attended Harvest Days at the Wetherby Cranberry Marsh. After the tour we put on hip boots and took pictures wading in the cranberry bed. We helped out by taking
pictures of the visitors and made sure nobody fell in. Once the weather starting getting bad we headed to the warehouse for warm apple cider and socialized with the visitors.  We ended our day with lunch at the Wisconsin Cranberry Discovery Center in Warrens and explored the museum downstairs. A fun day for all despite the bad weather.

We hope you enjoyed our adventures as much as we have!

Royal Greetings!

We are excited to share the latest events we have attended since last month.

On July 30th we attended the Miss Jackson County Pageant at the Black River Falls Lunda Theatre. The evening started out with a royalty tea and social hour followed by the coronation ceremonies. The evening was fun and exciting, and the newly crowned Miss Jackson County is Paris Prochaska.

On August 2nd we took our float to the Wilton Wood Turtle Days Parade. It was a beautiful day, but very hot. We took pictures with other royalty before the parade. It was nice to do a local parade, travel time was short, and we saw a lot of familiar faces.

Wednesday August 7th we left in the afternoon and traveled to West Allis Wisconsin for the Wisconsin State Fair. We got up bright and early Thursday morning and carried everything in for our food demos, which are done on stage before an audience. Afterwards we walked through the Expo Center and used our Bargain Books to buy everything from cookie dough to alligator meat. We walked over and watched the Kid’s From Wisconsin Show. We even got a picture taken with Alex Knoepker, one of our local college students who is helping direct the group this summer. We rode the skylift across the fairgrounds to the other side where we
Had a fun time going on all the rides. We enjoyed the hotel pool that night and got up early the next day to do our final food demos. After the demos we rode the giant ferris wheel and checked out the animal barns. We ended our day watching pig races and the draft horse show. We had a really awesome time at the State Fair.

On August 14th Princesses Sierra and Kendall attended the WSCGA Summer Field Day on the DuBay Cranberry Marsh by Junction City, WI. We had our picture taken with Senator Patrick Testin, many Warrens exhibitors, and Jim Peterson, President of the museum in Warrens. A delicious lunch was served. We were introduced at the annual meeting of the WSCGA and talked about our activities and also invited everyone to our Festival in September. It was a very enjoyable day on the marsh.

2018-2019 Warrens Cranberry Festival Royalty July Update

Royal Greetings!

We are excited to share the latest events we have attended since last month.

On June 15th Queen Cassie and her sister Katie served juice at the Jessie Parker run and
visited with some of the runners at the event.

On June 26, we went to La Crosse shopping for sun dresses to wear for our summer events. We found white sundresses for the princesses and a burgundy sundress for the queen. They look very nice! We also found black shorts and sandals to finish off our summer attire. We are
looking forward to wearing them on our hot summer activities.

On June 29th, we went to the Wetherby Cranberry Marsh for Cranberry Blossom Day. We
listened to Nodji Van Wychen give her marsh tour presentation on cranberries. We each
prepared a cranberry item for our food demo and gave out samples to the visitors. Afterwards we traveled over to the Wisconsin Cranberry Discovery Center for some complimentary
cranberry ice cream. We had an enjoyable day visiting with all the guests.

On July 4th we attended the parade in Tomah. The weather was beautiful for the entire parade and there were a lot of entries. We decorated our float with American flags in celebration of the glorious day. It’s always fun to do a local parade and see so many familiar faces.

On July 19th we took our float to New Lisbon for the Wa Du Shuda Days Parade. The parade was awesome and the 80’s theme was so much fun. We did our hair up in side ponytails to go with the style from that era. Afterwards we saw a man with bearded dragons and took lots of pictures with them. We wandered around the fest grounds and enjoyed great food and
activities. We stumbled upon the UW– Madison Camp Randall Marching Band that was
performing for a crowd. We had a blast dancing the chicken dance and doing the polka to the music. It was a very enjoyable day for all of us!

We hope you enjoyed our adventures as much as we have!

2018-2019 Warrens Cranberry Festival Royalty June Update

Royal Greetings!

We are supper excited to share the latest events we have attended since our last update.

On May 27, we took part in the Warrens Memorial Day service. Due to the threat of rain the
service was moved inside the Warrens Fire Station. We were so thankful it was indoors because we did get a downpour. Queen Cassie did the laying of the wreath and also read a prayer of
blessing during the service.. After the ceremony we went to the Log Building and enjoyed a
delicious Chicken-Q. The ceremony in the Pine Grove Cemetery was canceled due to the weather. We had a nice day honoring the fallen despite the bad weather.

June 1st Queen Cassie and Princess Kendall attended the Monroe County Dairy Breakfast on the Hall farm outside of Tomah. We handed out samples of cranberry juice to the visitors. They served a delicious breakfast of eggs, pancakes, cheese, toast, cookies, coffee cake and Culver’s custard. Later we explored the farm and took lots of pictures.

Later that night Queen Cassie and Princess Kendall attended the Miss Sparta Pageant. We
enjoyed the excitement of watching all the contestants perform their talents, answer impromptu questions, model their evening wear, and answer interview questions. After intermission all
visiting royalty went on stage to introduce themselves and talk a little about their festivals. At the end of the evening we had pictures taken with the new royalty. The new Miss Sparta is
Hannah Pieper and Miss Sparta Outstanding Teen is Alexis Bernett. It was a very enjoyable
evening.

On June 9, we attended the Sparta Butterfest royalty reception and parade. We had a group
picture taken by the Ben Biker statue. We enjoyed ice cream from Rudy’s Drive Inn before the parade. It was a warm day but the rain held off so we had a very enjoyable ride on our float
waving to everyone on the parade route.

We hope you enjoyed our monthly update and we look forward to what’s ahead on our calendar.

They had a very nice crowd of spectators and they were very happy to see us. We received many compliments on our beautiful float and they thanked us for driving the long distance. Many people said they’ve attended our Festival or plan to attend this year. We received 1st Place in the parade for Best Float!

We were all excited when they announced the new Alice in Dairyland as Abigail Martin from Milton, Wisconsin. We had our picture taken with her and she expressed her excitement to be attending the Warrens Cranberry Festival in September. We are excited to share the latest events we attended. On February 14th we attended the Tomah VA Valentines Day celebration with the veterans.  Every year they celebrate National Salute To Veteran Patients Week by having a huge heart shaped cake for the veterans to
enjoy. We had the opportunity to spend time with some of the patients and serve cake to
everyone who attended.  It was a fun event and we enjoyed representing the Warrens
Cranberry Festival.
