We enjoyed chicken at the Lions Log Building for lunch. We made our way over to  the Pine Grove Cemetery where we each took part in the ceremony by reading a poem. We had a great day honoring the fallen.

On June 3rd it was a busy day. We went to the Monroe County Dairy Breakfast on the Mapltwin Farms by  Cashton in the morning. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast and mingled with people while exploring the farm. After the Dairy Breakfast we headed to West Salem for West Salem June Dairy Days Parade. Royal Greetings!

We are excited to share the latest events we have attended since last month.

On July 10th we took our float to New Lisbon for the Wa Du Shuda Days Parade. It was a beautiful warm day. We enjoyed good food and even participated in the Dunk Tank!

On July 11th we went to Trempealeau Catfish Days. It was another beautiful day for a parade! We enjoyed a Royalty Tea which included a trivia game and a dance contest, sadly we lost in both. Fun was had by all, the winners of the contests received a Fish gift grab bag. It was an impressive parade with a large amount of people in attendance.

July 14th a little bit of rain couldn't keep us away from attending the La Crosse Interstate Fair. We did introductions to the audience along with the other visiting royalty and took a group picture. We also enjoyed a 4-H fashion show and a tour of the fairgrounds, followed by refreshments. On our tour we saw numerous farm animals including pigs, sheep, goats, horses, cows, dogs, bunnies, and chickens, oh my!

July 17th we ventured up to Vesper for the Vesper Days Parade! We met Miss Wisconsin for America, Krysten Eckes, who is a Vesper native. While it was a small town parade, it was busy and the spectators enjoyed seeing us and were excited to hear that Cranfest is back on for this year!

July 20th we had an excellent day at the Huntsinger Farms in Eau Claire County for the Farm Technology Days. We enjoyed viewing many booths and samples from Ferguson Farms apples, Silver Springs horseradish and Salmon from a farm in Northfield. We also ran into Alice in Dairyland, Julia Nunes, and Nancy VanderMeer Wisconsin State Assembly District 70. We   finished our day with a bus tour to a radish farm and complex, Ferguson Apple Orchard, and the Nelson family farm where they actually drove the bus inside the barn. We also learned horseradish is a member of the mustard family. It was a fun learning experience for all!

August 8th we attended the Fairchild Fundays Parade. It was a very nice small town parade but there were a lot of people there watching and waving. They were excited to see our beautiful float.

August 11th Queen Lindsey and Princess Annabelle attended the WSCGA Summer Field Day on the Whittlesey Cranberry Co. in Wisconsin Rapids. We visited many of the exhibit booths and visited with the vendors. We enjoyed a nice marsh tour and a delicious lunch was served. It was an enjoyable day on the marsh.

August 12th we loaded up the Suburban and headed to West Allis for the Wisconsin State Fair. We rode the Skyglider across the fairgrounds and had a fun time on all the other rides. After going on rides we walked through the exhibit building and visited with many people. We had an enjoyable lunch with some delicious ice cream and headed back home.

We hope you enjoyed our adventures as much as we have!

2019-2020 Warrens Cranberry Festival Royalty December Update

Royal greetings and Happy Holidays!

We are so excited to share all the events we’ve had the opportunity to participate in since our last update.

On November 29th, Princess Katie and Princess Annabelle attended the Tomah Holiday Parade. We left our float at home and only took the Suburban. The weather was nice so we walked the entire parade route waving to everyone along the way. The parade route was packed with people on both sides of street. We enjoyed hot chocolate before and after the parade.

On December 6th, Princess Katie and Princess Annabelle attended the Sparta Holiday Parade. Before the parade we enjoyed hot chocolate at the Royalty Tea and took pictures with Santa and Ben Biken. We walked the entire route of the parade waving to all the cheerful parade goers. The weather was great and it was a delightful night.

On December 13th, we served cranberry juice and handed out presents at the Tomah Senior Center Christmas Party. It was nice to visit and spread some holiday cheer with area seniors.

On December 14th, we toured the Wisconsin Capital in Madison. The rotunda contained a 30 foot tall Christmas tree. The tree was decorated with ornaments that were handmade by students from all over Wisconsin. The theme this year is a celebration of what science means to Wisconsin students. This is the 103rd year a tree has been in the Capitol rotunda. We were able to take some great photos near the Christmas tree and out on the observation deck. We left for lunch and later toured the Executive
Residents. The house was filled with beautiful Christmas trees, each of them were decorated in a different theme. One of the trees was decorated in red, white and blue lights and military ornaments to remember Wisconsin’s deployed service members and named “Tribute to our Troops”. We had a busy day in
Madison with picture taking and holiday excitement. We’ve enjoyed  celebrating the holiday season and promoting the Cranberry Festival on all our adventures this past month.

Happy Holidays!

Here is a sneak peek of what’s ahead on our schedule:
Shopping for formals, Fairest of the Fair Coronation, WSCGA Winter Meeting, and Westby Snowflake Ski Jump.

2019-2020 Warrens Cranberry Festival Royalty November Update

Royal greetings everyone!

On Friday October 11th we were a part of the Tomah Homecoming Parade. It’s was 40 degrees and windy but it’s always fun to be in a local parade with so many familiars faces to wave at.

On Friday October 25th we attended Halloween Trunk or Treat at St. Matthew Church in Warrens. We took the Warrens Cranberry Festival Suburban and draped spiderwebs all over it so it looked really creepy. We handed out bags of craisens and candy to all the trick or treaters. It was awesome to see all the kids in
costumes, glad we could be a part of this fun event.

We are excited for all the events to come and are honored to represent the Warrens Cranberry Festival!
