2018 - 2019 Warrens Cranberry Festival Royalty May Update

Royal Greetings!

We are excited to share the latest events we’ve had the opportunity to take part in since our last update. On April 26th we attended the Sparta Festmaster Banquet. We enjoyed a delicious meal and visited with other area royalty. We also met the 2018 Festmaster, Mike Arnold and had our picture taken with the newly inducted 2019 Festmaster, Bob Lydon. It was enjoyable night for all of us.

On April 27th we were invited to the State VFW Convention Parade in Freedom, Wisconsin. It was a 3 hours drive and a very cold and windy day so we wore our caps during the parade. They had a very nice crowd of spectators and they were very happy to see us. We received many compliments on our beautiful float and they thanked us for driving the long distance. Many people said they’ve attended our Festival or plan to attend this year. We received 1st Place in the parade for Best Float!

On May 11th we attended the Tomah Area Cancer Support Event at the Fairgrounds in Tomah. We enjoyed a delicious pancake breakfast and helped by serving milk and cranberry juice. They had a nice attendance for the 5K Run/Walk and a lot of items for their auction. We visited with many people and had a fun time at the event.

On May 11th we also attended the Alice in Dairyland Finals in Monroe, Wisconsin. At the social we took pictures with the Green County Royalty. We enjoyed a delicious buffet meal which included Swiss cuisine. During the competition each of the five finalists did a presentation on a commodity. Our top pick to win  was Abigail Martin, she did an awesome job and the commodity for her presentation was cranberries, our favorite! We were all excited when they announced the new Alice in Dairyland as Abigail Martin from Milton, Wisconsin. We had our picture taken with her and she expressed her excitement to be attending the Warrens Cranberry Festival in September. The day was long but we had an awesome time, hope everyone enjoys our Royalty news for this month!

Yours Truly,

2018-2019 Warrens Cranberry Festival Royalty April Update

Royal Greetings!

On March 17th we attended the Westby Syttende Coronation. Each of the contestants are sponsored by one of the area businesses and they wear a unique Norwegian style dress.  It was exciting to watch and see which of the young ladies would be crowned the new Westby Syttende Mai Princess. 1st Attendant is Sedona Radke, 2nd Attendant is Lydia Jackson, and Haley Hagen was crowned Princess,

On Saturday April 20th we attended the Warrens Community Easter Breakfast at the Log Building in Warrens. They had a nice turnout for the pancake breakfast. The Easter Bunny came to visit so everyone could get pictures taken with him. We helped with pictures and handed out books and candy to all the children who attended. This was a great community event for children and adults.

Our busy parade season will be starting soon and we are looking forward to all our upcoming events this summer. We hope everyone enjoys our Royalty news!

2017-2018 Warrens Cranberry Festival Royalty March Update

Royal Greetings!

We are excited to share the latest events we attended. On February 14th Princess Hannah and Princess Lauren went to the Tomah VA to celebrate Valentines Day with the veterans.
Each year they celebrate National Salute To Veteran Patients Week by having a huge heart shaped cake for the veterans to enjoy. We had the opportunity to spend time with some of the patients and serve them all cake too!

On March 11th we traveled to Westby to attended the Westby Syttende Mai Coronation.
This year marks the 50th year for their celebration. They held a meet and greet prior to the ceremony so it gave us a chance to mingle with all the other royalty. Seven young ladies ran for court. The winners were Princess: Katelyn Dunnum, 1st attendant: Hailey Jubera, and 2nd attendant: Josie Hofslien. After the new royalty was crowned everyone gathered for a group photo.  It was a fun and exciting event and we enjoyed representing the Warrens
Cranberry Festival.

We hope everyone enjoys our journal and pictures.
