The 2008-2009 Cranberry Royalty had a "Farmtastic" time at the Monroe County Dairy Breakfast!
Pancakes, ham & cheese omelet, coffee cake & cookies, buttered toast, cheese, cheese curds, coffee, milk and Culver's Custard Sundaes is how I started off my morning on June 6 th! One of my favorite things about my job is experiencing the diversity that makes Wisconsin's agriculture legacy strong. I traveled to Harvey and Jackie Menn's Organic Dairy Farm where I participated in activities including visiting the petting zoo, serving cranberry juice , educational activities, horse-drawn wagon rides and more!
The Menn Family is the fifth generation to own the farm, which they purchased in 1990.
Within the last year, the Menns made the transition to organic and were very excited about hosting the Monroe County Dairy Breakfast.
Thanks for your support! Have a "berry" great day! Enjoy some pictures!
Deep in Cranberries,
