The first parade of July was the Independence Day Parade in Tomah. Unfortunately due to rainy weather they were not able to un-tarp the float. But the girls were determined not to let rain ruin their day as they waved to the crowd from the Suburban while they proceeded through the parade route.
The Royalty have several other parades this month to look forward to. These include the New Lisbon WaDaShuda Days on the 11th, the Karner Blue Butterfly parade on the 17th, and the Houston, MN Hoedown Parade on the 25th.
Other events that the girls will participate in this month include the LaCrosse Interstate Fair, The Monroe County Fair, and Farm Technology Days in Pierce County. The Royalty will also eagerly be practicing as they prepare for their upcoming cranberry demonstrations at the Monroe County Fair and at the State Fair in early August.
Best Wishes to all of you for a fun-filled summer,
The 2009-2010 Cranberry Festival Royalty
