2010-2011 Cranberry Royalty Announced














Princess Tayler Burkhalter, Queen Devyn Prielipp, Princess Danielle Hininger

The Cranberry Festival is pleased to announce its 2010-2011 Royalty, who were crowned at a coronation ceremony held at the Warrens Lions Club Building, September 19, 2010. The newly crowned royalty included Queen Devyn Prielipp and Princesses Tayler Burkhalter and Danielle Hininger.

Devyn Prielipp is the daughter of Duane Prielipp and the late Teresa Wilkinson. She is a Junior at Tomah High School and is involved with gymnastics and works in the office at school. Devyn also volunteers with the Remembering Teresa Walk/Run and helps promote domestic violence awareness.

Tayler Burkhalter is the daughter of Scott & Michelle Edgerton and Todd Burkhalter. She is a Freshman at Tomah High School and participates in tennis, softball, volleyball, track, soccer, and FFA.

Danielle Hininger is the daughter of Jeff & Sherry Hininger. She is an eighth grader at Tomah Middle School and she participates in tennis, dance team, and musicals & drama club.

Cranberry Royalty were judged based on an interview regarding personality, poise, posture, grooming, past achievements and speaking ability. All contestants also gave a five minute cranberry food demonstration.

Each year, a Cranberry Queen and two Princesses are chosen to promote Warrens Cranberry Festival by attending parades, numerous speaking engagements, food demonstrations, pageants, and various other dignitary events.

At the end of her reign, the Queen will receive a $500 scholarship from the Festival and the Princesses will each receive a $250 scholarship.
