Greetings everyone!
We had another busy week! On Tuesday, June 21st, we attended the Wisconsin State Cranberry Growers Association Golf Outing, in Wisconsin Rapids. The three of us were placed at the Hole in One and got to watch all the golfers make their attempt at winning a brand new truck! On Saturday, June 25th we traveled right next door to the Wetherby Cranberry Marsh in honor of Cranberry Blossom Days! There we listened to our very own Nodji Van Wychen explain the planting and harvesting process of the cranberry. We even got to meet the 2011 Wisconsin Honey Queen - Danielle Dale! Later that day we went to the Wisconsin Cranberry Discovery Center and helped visiting children make crafts. On Sunday, June 26th, we traveled to Wisconsin Rapids for the 2011 Cranberry Blossom Days Parade. It was a beautiful Day and we so enjoy waving and inviting everyone to our Festival.
Looking ahead...we are attending the Jesse Parker Run/Walk event, Tomah 4th of July Parade, WaDaShuda Days Parade, Karner Blue Butterfly Parade, and the Business After 5 at the Fairgrounds in Tomah. We are also excited to being throwing the first pitch at a Logger's Baseball Game too! Whew! and that is just July. We are loving every minute of our Royal reign and are proud to represent this great Festival and appreciate the opportunities we are given!
