Arcadia Parade

It was a delightful, enjoyable, sunny day as we traveled to Arcadia to "wave" in the parade! With teamwork and talent we are becoming professional "float setter-uppers"! Yesterday we only took 19 minutes from cover off to rake up! Before the parade the Royalty enjoyed a delicious picnic lunch under a shade tree! Then we met Miss Arcadia and other Royalty. We all even received "apple kisses" from the Applefest Royalty who have become great friends! Queen Rachel spotted a red Dodge Charger, and although she couldn't convince the driver to give her a ride…she was able to sit in the drivers seat for a picture!!! It was great!!

Then it was "Smile and Wave" time as the parade began…just when we thought we were almost to the end of the parade route, someone from the crowed shouted, "surprise" and we looked and to our excitement…it was Nodji and Jim and their family! After the parade we changed into our sportswear and walked the festival and cooled off with a refreshing shake! The day was very memorable and before we knew it we were back in the Cranberrymobile heading back to Warrens for some "beauty sleep"!
