It was the moment we all waited for…the night of June 6 th, who will be the new Miss Sparta for 2009? 5 talented and beautiful ladies competed in various competitions, all hoping their name was announced as Miss Sparta 2009! We also celebrated the year for reigning 2008 Miss Sparta Paige Peters. The night was filled with music, dance, talent, and excitement! The theme was "Picture This" celebrating Butterfest's 25 th year! My Princesses, Lauryn and Chelsie along with our moms enjoyed some great entertainment! We were introduced as visiting royalty and I even had my fan club with me! Sparta is my hometown and it was great being there representing the Cranberry Festival and Cranberry industry! Before the night ended the new royalty were named and drum roll please…BETH ASCHER was crowned 2009 MISS SPARTA, 1st Attendant ABBEY DAVIS, 2nd Attendant KATHLEEN GRAHAM.CONGRATULATIONS!I can't wait for Butterfest June 11-14 th!!! Remember: "What happens at Butterfest, Butter stay at Butterfest!"
