Fun, Food & Excitement!

It's fair time! On Wednesday July 15 ^th, we traveled to West Salem, Wisconsin to attend the LaCrosse Interstate Fair. To start off the evening, we attended the Official Opening with introduction of the 2009 Fairest of the Fair, Katie Radke and 1 ^st Attendant, Kally Bockenhauer. After we introduced ourselves and invited everyone to Cranfest, we watched the 4-H Clothing Show. Then off to tour the fair as we walked through the exhibits and dairy barns. After the tour, we received a complementary ride on any ride. We choose…Fairest Wheel. It was so much fun to view the entire fair from way up high! I visited the LaCrosse County Dairy Bar Ice Cream booth and helped scoop ice cream to visitors. Even though there was no cranberry ice cream, it still was a sweet treat serving.
