Karner Blue Butterfly Parade

Butterflies and Cranberry Royalty go together quite nicely. We drove north to Black River Falls, Wisconsin to wave in the Karner Blue Butterfly Parade at 3 p.m. The overcast sky turned blue just in time before the parade started. However, it was chilly and we wore our beautiful capes as we sat in our rakes. It reminded me of a day during harvest season…I should have had my hip boots!! Ha! Ha! We waved and smiled and had many fans on the streets. The day was very enjoyable and when we had finished the parade route, we watched the rest of the parade "fly by." Then back to Warrens to give our float a rest before the big Hoedown in Houston, MN!!
